A vibrant neighborhood

Founder Michael Tam spent his childhood in Sham Shui Po among the wet market vendors and local cha chan tengs, growing up in the fabric of the district’s history. He introduced specialty coffee to the area in 2014 with Café Sausalito, creating a space for the community to connect as people go about their daily rituals.

The combination of growing, harvesting, roasting, grinding and brewing that makes every cup unique is why Michael is so passionate to learn more about the craft. For him, Café Sausalito is about worthwhile experiences and the connection between people over every cup of coffee.
